As a side note, we do not agree with some of the views expressed on some pictures. Or else, I wouldn't find them funny. I laugh only at how wrong they are.

It is I again. I have been dormant for too long. I have too many things to say, but time (or the lack of, should I say) limits what I can write.
I have been called forth from my slumber regarding the issue with Tibet. As I write this, I am wasting what precious homework time I have. Need I remind you that I could also be working on my company (FOR ALL OF YOUR HOSTING SOLUTIONS, CONTACT ME ON MSN).
Therefore, you can safely assume that I have something important to say.
In the beginning, when the mass revolt (and I say revolt because it was nota peaceful demonstration) happened in Tibet I lent an ear here or there listening to what the western world is planning next to derail China from its destined path to greatness. I sat waiting, seeing what would happen.
Finally when I decided that the Western World has given up and has accepted that China is just far too superior, it began (it's a conspiracy I tell you). I don't need to go over the rest of the details with you because I expect you to know about it already.
The whole issue with the Olympics. I now think that the whole situation is a disaster. China took it way too seriously. When I went back this summer, the Olympics-fever was everywhere.
And I tell you, it disgusted me a bit. What is the reason? China is recognized by the western world as a socially stable nation. My opinion, who cares what the West thinks? As long as they get their cheap toys they won't do anything too drastic toward China anyways. They can't do anything drastic, they need us. I expected some small troubles to arise, but as you can see now. It is becoming out of hand.
I was discussing this issue with Jeremy and he agrees with me on this topic.
Here's our conversation:
Matt - just like the whole fecking tibet situation i bet if u asked 90% of the people where's tibet? they will tell you: duh, it's in asia and things like why should tibet be free? duh, 'cause they're oppressed duh, 'cause they're enslaved from who? duh, the chinese gov't how? using military force when? i dunno
Jeremy - yo, matt, believe it or not just the other day, my mum's bf whom i have very little respect for was bashing china he was like blah blah blah... china is bad.... blah blah blah falun gong is good... blah blah blah opressors
Matt - lol FALUN GONG IS GOOD?! LMFAO
Jeremy - but basically, his argument boiled down to if you support china you support the rape of women and the enslavement of children and organ harvesting and I'm like, wow. and yeah, I did mention the whole brainwash cult thing but he was like, freedom of religion, bitch so i tried to explain to him that falun gong is a brainwash cult that tends to harm it's own devotee's a la people's temple see, what I think the problem is is that people read the news, or watch it or they hear it and then they jump on it as if it's the godspoken truth and then boast about knowing it
Matt - they feel after they heard one snippet
Jeremy - as if it makes them so well educated, so well informed
Matt - yeah they know about it all
Jeremy - when all they've heard is one damn bit
Matt - from one side from one view
Jeremy - not comprehensive, not even one sidedly intelligent
Matt - one opinion exactly ...
*PLEASE NOTE* Jeremy's opinions only pertain to what he wrote in the conversation above. Please don't hold any grudges against him for whatever else I have written
The conversation continued, but that was the general thesis. Jeremy, by the way, is running for co-prez this year. Based on the conversation mentioned above, I can personally say, he is ready to lead.
Anyways, back to the original topic.
People in the western world are always criticizing bigots. *DING DING DING* I taste irony. For once, I want the western people to stop minding the other people business, and mind their own.
The western nations have done so much wrong, their sins are splattered throughout the pages of the history. Yet they are so quick to criticize other people, other nations, other communities, other factions, basically to any if not all who oppose their own views and bias.
Have you noticed that the western countries call for change of other countries, but never pronounce their own? Have they evolved to the point where nothing else can ever be improved? I leave that for you to decide.
China has 56 unique ethnicities, and this does NOT include all the other nationalities who immigrated to China over time:
If Canada is multi-cultural, what is China? Food for thought.
I now find the Olympics to be a giant hassle. I was used to be excited for China, now I realize that it was just a huge trap.
That incident in Paris? Mind I remind you that the torch bearer is a handicapped girl sitting in a wheel chair. May that burden the conscience of the terrorists who tried to extinguish the flame, FOREVER.
What do I see? A gaggle of peaceful protesters? On the contrary, I see savages.
Pictures are worth 1000 words:
Truth brought by a Tibetan:
*Hard to read, but proves the point none-the-less, can't find another bigger version.*
More pictures: http://military.club.china.com/data/thread/1011/977/03/45/0_1.html
Everywhere I turn, I see sinophobia (a pun from xenophobia). These protesters are not pro-Tibet, they are anti-China.
With that note, I end this entry. But before I go, I will provide you, the readers some more reading material. This is the side less heard about in the World of the West. If you do agree, these will further our arguments. If you don't agree, these will broaden your horizons.

Sorry for not being able to fulfill my promise to you guys of updating in China. There were a number of reasons, and one major one was Blogspot was censored in China. I was also using dial-up so the loading times would have been unbearable. Plus, who really wants to write on this crappy website when they could be having fun in China.. (that's also my excuse for the other things I haven't done)
When I came back to Canada, I was jet-lagged and had appliances put on my teeth. From laziness, pain, general drowsiness, and I-just-don't-give-a-damn I have failed to update this website.
I solemnly swear that I will change.. *maybe*
Hopefully I will upload some other pictures, and tell you about what I saw, or what I did..
This is going to be my last formal post before I go back to China, hopefully in China, the internet won't be too slow, so I can upload some pictures quickly, and have enough time to write about interesting events.
As for today's post..
Growing up is inevitable. We can't help it, we can't change it, and most importantly, we can't slow it down. Growing up can make a person happy, but it can also make a person sad. That goes without saying, and I'm sure I'm just saying everything you already know.
I don't care if you know or not, because this is my opinion.
Thinking about growing up, I feel excited, and want to do the things that a grown-up wants to do. But, I know in my heart I don't want to grow up. I don't want to face the responsibility. I'll be old quick, and all my friends will drift apart... We can help slow the drifting down, but you all know we won't be spending as much time together. Highschool is going to be over fast, and when that time comes, we can only look back at our times together as we are about to head off to different schools, cities, or even countries.
I asked many grade 12 students what their opinion about graduating is, everyone of them had the same response: "Bittersweet."
What a clichéd statement, but thinking about it, what's a better word to describe it? Our youthfulness is about to end. Observing my parents as they grow older, I start to realize, what will happen to us? Our memories starting to fail us, our physical abilities becomes limited, and we sleep earlier. Everyday is the same: wake up, eat, work, eat, work, go home, rest, sleep. Those of us with a cubicle job will feel even more confined, but what about the people doing physical labour.
Working at Bulk Barn really made me look at the world, looking at the people working there, I cannot help but feel sorry for them. What a sad life to lead. Earning just a bit above minimum wage. If you're the manager, you're better off compared to the workers, but even if you are a manager, you're still not making a lot. The better question is, is that my future job?
A job is not the most important thing, it's your family, but how is your family relationship going to be? When are you going to start having a family? Are you going to have a family? These are some of the things to consider.
What about retirement?
Why worry about this when we haven't even attended University yet? University is the most important step right?
Most of you probably think you have it all planned out... Sorry to say this.. but you don't. How can you have a plan when you don't know your future? Time is passing by more and more quickly, so when we are in our 30 somethings we can only acknowledge the fact that we are entering mid-life.. If time is going to go by quicker and quicker, will it eventually just be a blur? Imagine that.. living a blur..
We are entering the stage of our life where we have to look at life in the big picture. Our life. We are growing up my friends.. we are bound to change.. let's just hope that change can bring us closer in the future..
Wow... who knew summer could by so boring... anyways, I decided to follow the K-man's idea and use Opera... Success!
So now I will be alternating between Opera, Firefox, and IE, HURRA!
Anyways, I really have nothing to say right now... not even entertainment, but I do understand it is summer, and many of you are having the same problems as I am (meaning boredom), so I have decided to start with video posts again.
Sorry about not updating guys.. and girls.. but my mozilla is bugged for some reason, and right now I'm using IE.. so.. ya.. I'll try to fix the problem, however, if it persists I'll either reformat the comp, or update on IE (which I hate by the way..)
Just a notice to people, I have finally quit my job... for those looking to apply for a job, we are definitely looking for people (I wasn't the only one, 2 guys and 2 girls left as well)...
Anyways after that last rant, I sort of gave up on the customers...
Anyways...
But lately some idiots came in, and complained about things again... I'll only tell you what happened, I've grown desensitized to such nonsense (Can you BELIEVE THAT?!).
So it was one of those typical not-busy days in the store, very few customers, great conditions for the workers... I was just going through the "touch-ups" and we were going to close in 1 hour, I can't wait to go home. So I was daydreaming, and just cleaning the bin lids, when suddenly, an old menace loomed before me. She was old, and she was crabby. Of course, I only greeted her with my kindest regards. She completely disregarded that, and started to speak (She did not look like she was in a pleasant mood).
"I was watching you." (oookkk... like that doesn't sound creepy...)
"You are cleaning the top of a bin, the underside of the bin lid, the scoop for that bin, and going to the next bin... I think that cloth is dirty!" said the "unpleasant woman" (Yes, I put a quote around woman).
"Oh, well I'm sorry, but I can't really change anything, if you have any complaints you'll have to talk to the manager," I said.
"Do you know how many germs there are on that cloth, and the bin lids?" "She" questioned.
"Well, really, I'm sorry, I can't change anything, If you want I could bring the manager - "
"I THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER!" and "she" stormed out of the store.
I'm guessing she's never coming back again, good riddance to bad rubbish.
Later I told my manager about this incidence, and he merely laughed that I got in trouble with a customer...
By the way, the bins and the cloths are probably cleaner than the one's in your home from constant use, and constant cleaning, there are just stains on it that makes it look extremely dirty.
Lesson Number 1: No one gives a shit to an asshole with no courtesy.
This time, the store is busy, and I just finished helping a customer. *Message to Jamie W, I was also busy*. Suddenly a Buzz Lightyear pinata fell down on top of a customer (keep in mind, these pinatas are very stable, and can only be knocked down when someone starts shaking the bins). I didn't see how it fell, I had my back turned towards it, and when it fell I picked it up and put it in the back room. When I came out, a large lady (trust me, she's neither weak, feeble, nor old) cried out "Aren't you going to ask if I'm ok?"
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't see it fall - "
"Ya, your Buzz Lightyear pinata fell on my back, and you didn't even ask if I'm ok."
"Like I said, I'm sorry, I didn't see it fall -"
"AREN'T YOU GOING TO ASK ME IF I'M OK?"
"Are you ok?"
"TOO LATE NOW!"
... No lies, that was basically the conversation, not giving me a chance to respond, she kept asking why we didn't care how she was, and when I did, she said it was too late. There's this other co-worker beside me, she's white, so the yeti didn't give her much trouble (=P). The yeti went to the cash, knocked all the other customers waiting in line out of the way, and asked where the manager was.
The supervisor was the cashier at the time, and the yeti proceeded to give the supervisor shit. "Your Buzz Lightyear pinatas fell on my back, and none of your staff seemed to care. I think some discipline is necessary, and you better watch your pinatas, because they are a lawsuit waiting to happen!"
After that, she left the store, but before that, made a mess in the aisles. I just want to say, the pinatas were frickin' empty and they weighed practically nothing, plus (I know this sounds mean, but) she had like fifty layers of blubber protecting her, I don't even think a bullet can penetrate her.
By the way, she was flipped out, I really don't know why, her face was red, and she was shaking, and she was yelling, her voice was loud enough to make the entire store hear her. I think she thought she had the customers on her side, but when she left, the person I was helping out before this all happened came up to me, and gave me a reassuring look.
Lesson Number 2: Don't over react, you only make yourself look like a fool... and an asshole...
And ya... that's basically the kind of memories that I will keep forever, I was not traumatized one bit during either incidences. Both times, the person in charge just laughed at me for being so unlucky.
There's this black guy who works in the store, and we're pretty good friends. And there's a kind of birdseed called Nyger Seeds.
So apparently a redneck came into the store looked at the things on special advertisement, saw the Nyger Seeds, and gave a soft chuckle. Looked at my colleague, and asked him where the n****r seeds are at.
"Excuse me?"
"Ya, your n***** seeds, where are they?"
The manager walked by at the moment, and said:
"Our NYGER seeds are this way, it's pronounced NYGER."
Ya, he looked like a redneck, idiot, and... you guessed it, an asshole...
Lesson Number 3: Don't be racist, you're only making yourself look bad... and insulting against large groups of people... do any of these sound smart to you?
My colleague will be bitter about this for a long time... I don't blame him...
So there you go... my Final Workplace Rant, not really a rant, sort of a series of unfortunate events.
